Having read recent school spouts, nobody is suggesting closing the school, or doing away with anything. Wildwood is not an affluent community, and as we are seeing up in A.C., the need to cut non-vital expenses is critical. We should spend our limited tax dollars on what's absolutely necessary, and a half million dollars for athletics just is not. Having parents or outside groups fund some of this expense is an excellent idea, but who here is holding their breath? Is City Hall listening?
