To the Stone Harbor spouter complaining about out of control spending. I do agree with the premise that spending for unnecessary projects is out of control. But it is not happening from tax increases but from extraordinary amounts of new tax revenue from new construction of mega homes. Forget about closing the school and selling school property and other town properties. How about putting a reserve in effect to save extra revenue for future beach replenishment and back bay dredging. Place a moratorium on new spending. Big savings, cut town motor pool in 1/2 and switch to Hybrid.
