As a former employee of LTES and educator I advise any parent whos child has an IEP and is in a self contained room follow up with your child's teacher. Those departments get the most funding through the state and there are more teachers in those rooms. 1 teacher to 2 kids. They are documenting that your child isn't progressing in their notes but reporting to parents that they are progressing. Because if you fix a problem, cant document, then the funding stops for school. The state gets billed and the schools are making money.
