At the meeting of Middle Township Committee Aug. 18, Sam Kelly, a candidate for election, read from a prepared statement. He said, "I went to work without finishing grade school" and "I stand before you with $37 in my pocket, and not enough money to pay my bills." I don't think I want a man like that running a township budget of $23 million.
