Kudos to the Mayor or Avalon for being proactive in protecting the town and the law abiding citizens by closing the beach and boardwalk at an appropriate time to thwart illegal and unruly behavior by ignorant people. Unfortunately, parents have totally failed to manage their teenagers' ugly behavior. Wake up parents. Summer is not time for you to totally abdicate your parental duties and let your kids ruin everyone's vacation. Teach your children how to be respectful members of society, not crashing boors !!!
