As a waiter in a restaurant, I was outraged to read the story about Eagles player Shady McCoy and the fact that he left a 20 cent tip in a Phila. restaurant. I work hard at my job and tips are 95 percent of my income. I also need to share my tips with other restaurant staff. Every once in a while, I get someone who leaves little or no tip for no apparent reason. If McCoy had a problem with the service, he should have informed the waiter or the manager/owner. In my opinion, McCoy is a very small person and I hope this incident precludes any endorsements that he may otherwise get.
