I propose a new term : the sitting duck condition, like the Uber driver that was just killed, criminals know when they see the little Uber light there's no gun in the car, or other entities that have a known anti gun stance, like municipalities, developments, ect. The only way you can fix the gun crime is to take the criminals guns away from them, but, you don't like police in "combat gear" because it doesn't "look good" boy, if we could strap a camera to a few gangsters in a few major cities for a weekend you might "feel" differently.
