Here is a tremendous aesthetic improvement idea for Avalon which will greatly improve appearances,be simple to implement and cost very little. It will also be good for our island's environment. Have trash collection at the side yard of homes. It will look nice all week and weekend long, without having to see ugly trash cans lined up on the street for 4 or 5 days of the week. It will be cheaper than sending roving crews around regularly to pick up trash from toppled cans. Towns that do this now have 2 workers go in front of the trash crew and pull the cans to the curb. Big improvement.
