I just want to allay some of the fears of the middle class and lower middle class homeowners in Cape May County who are very worried about the fate of the ultra-wealthy in New York City. CNBC, in a recent article, noted that Manhattan luxury real estate sales are holding up very well even with Mamdani's tax on second homes. It turns out that the very wealthy are doing great and weathered this tax like champs. Meanwhile, NYC received some needed tax revenue. So, Mamdani haters, you probably can cross that off your list of things to worry about.
