The Hamas atrocities are reprehensible. But I find it perplexing that gunmen have invaded numerous schools in the US- Columbine, Sandy Hook, Stoneman, Uvalde and murdered children at will. Literally gunning children down as did Hamas. Yet there is hardly a peep in this country from the Republicans. All because they want to protect their Assault Rifle. Can someone please explain the difference?
Moderator's Note: The attacks at schools were done by individual criminals, mostly mentally disturbed people, not by a terrorist organization that runs their government. Regardless of party there is a common abhorrence of school shootings. One cannot equate the two events with moral rectitude.
