I would like to comment on school bus drivers, many are great at their job, realizing there's contractors behind them and pulling over to let us past, some, however, are I can't find a better phrase than self absorbed, at every stop talking to the parent that by body language alone is uncomfortable seeing the chaos building behind the bus (yes I'm qualified to discuss body language as a veteran) so here's a simple suggestion, if you're a bus driver : in the morning, when the child is already on the bus and you want to talk to the parents AT ALL, PLEASE turn off your flashing lights and let us pass.
