It may not be a coup, but it's an attempt to subvert the bedrock of our democracy, free and fair elections. As such, it is an assault on American values and principles. And it's an exercise in hypocrisy. Trump is raising money from his supporters supposedly to fund his lawyers' legal efforts, but in fact some 75% of the contributions are going to his future political campaigns. The courts have repeatedly rebuffed his lawyers' claims as baseless and absurd.
