North Cape May

Shore Animal Control put my family at risk when our dogs killed a skunk in broad daylight. They barely agreed to come out, and didn’t even bring a bag. I asked about rabies and skunk activity during the day, the reply “it’s normal”. They threw the skunk in my garbage can, and didn’t even send it away for testing. I wish I would have listened to my instincts, and spoken to the Health Department sooner. My dogs are current on their vaccines, but could have passed this onto myself or my children. No quarantine or testing occurred because Shore failed to educate, or practice proper procedure.
