This saying "I love you" and having to hear it back in public has gotten way out of line. Are people that insecure that they have to be constantly stroked? After the umpteenth time it loses meaning and becomes rote. I heard it said to a trash man and he almost fell off the truck craning his neck to see just who said that. Get a grip and find your own strength rather than sucking it out of everyone who comes down the pike.
