Very curious about the armed bank robbery weeks ago at Crest Savings Bank in North Cape May. Being that this is a federal crime, why have we not heard anything more about it? Also, as we heard it told, just after the robbery, the suspect ran out of the front door onto Bayshore Road headed towards Villa-Woods apartments, and supposedly almost got hit by a car, and directly behind that car was a Lower Township police car. Was the police officer responding to the robbery, and if yes, wouldn't they have pursued a person running out into traffic?
