The beautiful landscaped islands on 2nd Ave. are a treasure to our town, but they are in danger of being destroyed by dogs going to the bathroom on them. This kills the grass, plants and flowers, and is a health hazard to the garden club, volunteers and public works employees who work hard to maintain them. This must stop. The borough should enact an ordinance that prevents dogs on these landscaped islands.
