Sea Isle City

To the Sea Isle City spouter who wrote about their forbears transitioning to this country: I, too, come from an immigrant background, but had a different experience. The immigrants in my family tended to stay to themselves, not learn English, and kept to their old ways. It was the first generation that learned English and they were anxious to assimilate themselves into society. Their contributions, along with other first generation immigrants, have helped make this country the great nation it is. Thus, I don't want to be so quick to dismiss this new generation of immigrants.
