Wildwood - We feel strongly that the same announcements on the Wildwood Boardwalk need to be scaled back. Nothing has changed since the new sound system was installed. Of course, the 11 a.m. "Star-Spangled Banner", Kate Smith, etc., needs to stay. But, the Hooters, Elton John, etc., every half hour is so annoying. Wildwood fun facts? Maybe every other hour or even on the hour. Living so close to the boardwalk, it is insane. Even if they would change it up. But, the same songs every day? Or, how about some real history about our city?
