Wildwood - It’s time to repeal the state pedestrian law. Those who conjured it up, made a big mistake. It seems no one has really taken the time to read the law in its entirety. The law, as it’s written, does not grant pedestrians the right to stroll into traffic without caution, but most of them think it does. If you try to explain that it doesn’t, they get angry and say they have that right. People have lost all common sense when it comes to crossing a street. In my opinion, the law needs to be rewritten to show that pedestrians are required to stop, look and then proceed when clear.
