Watching another cop shooting of a Chicago child, you have to wonder about police training. It takes years and years to be a lawyer, a teacher, a doctor, etc. How long is the average training period to be a policeman, who are allowed to carry and use deadly weapons? Just what type of training do would-be cops go through at the various area police training academies? Is it really a situation that seems out of control?
