The thought of “Reparations” is popping up again. I just wanted to offer some additional ideas. The Irish were abused by the British for several centuries. Land was confiscated, people were murdered. This went on for centuries even as the Irish were actually subjects of the Crown. Many so-called Scots-Irish were usurpers, who lived in Ireland on land given to them by the Crown that had been stolen from Catholics. The Brits still have six counties that they didn’t give back. Can we swing some reparations to the Irish Catholics? Now, let’s talk about the Romani.
