As a teacher, I am puzzled by Pastor Rudy's recent "let boys be boys" column. His belief that males should be free to let their impulses and instincts control all their actions is precisely why so much currently in the news showcases domestic abuse by sports figures, and it contradicts all we try to teach our young male students, which is the need for respect and kindness to others.
