A spout and a series of online comments traded opposing opinions about the police academy director, a retired police chief. Some seemed to resent his collecting a salary and a pension. I don't know him, but doesn't it make perfect sense that the guy you hire to oversee police training be an experienced and respected police official, on a pension or not? Who would you rather they hire? Jealousy knows no bounds from CMC people. This county is doomed by its own small-mindedness. Most of you are lucky you live here and not in the real world.
