A man in Nashville armed with a hatchet, pepper spray and a fake gun attacked people. I suppose now we should ban pellet guns and hatchets too. The ability of our species to cause needless harm and evil is almost boundless. We need to clean up our society and find a way to deal with the mentally ill that does not put their welfare ahead of those who are sane. Banning guns will only disarm those of us who are willing and able to protect ourselves with them.
