I guess it's a sign of the times, as MLB is now requiring teams to have at least one fully employed translator to help with non-English speaking players, mostly from Latino countries. A daily article reports that up to now, team officials had to scramble to find a translator when these Hispanic athletes were being interviewed by American media, and the results were poor translations. Why aren't schools also following this reasonable example when so many new students from Latin America are being enrolled?
