Wildwood Crest - The windstorm caused a large tree on East Newark Ave. to fall June 29. The response by Wildwood Crest Police was outstanding. In less than five minutes they arrived, secured the area, ensured no one was injured and waited until the Department of Public Works arrived to assist in assessing the situation. Many thanks to the officers and Public Works supervisor for their remarkable response and ensuring no further damage was incurred.
