Citizen input into policing?

Wildwood Crest - Citizen input into policing? Must be a retired or fired past employee drumming this one up. Why doesn't the public go to the hospital and tell the doctors how to diagnose, how about heading to the construction site and telling the builders how to build? We have a wonderful police force with great leaders. I agree it is time for a chief but the public need not have any input.
