Somebody spouted that cops were not patrolling enough Thanksgiving day. I am sure the spout did not come from a nurse, firefighter, a convenience store clerk, or any one of the other bunch of folks who have to work Thanksgiving day, while that spouter sat and filled up on turkey, worrying about how much patrolling the police did that day. Thanksgiving is usually a quiet day in places where there are no big box stores open on the holiday. Maybe it was a nice change for the officers to take it a little easy. I am sure they promptly answered any calls they got.
