A Cape May spouter remarked that the rich 1% work harder than some people believe. Generalizations are rarely true, and there are lazy rich folks who live idly, having inherited fortunes, just like there are lazy poor folks content to live on the dole. Having worked for some very rich people, I do agree that at least some of them put in long, hard days and they are dedicated to making or keeping their fortunes. They encourage their kids to do well in school and be overachievers. Sure, there are worthless, rich playboys, but most of the ones I know are willing to work harder than I am.
