Before the Avalon anti-gun spouter can try to make points on the terrible incident in Charleston, I think we should duly note that 17 African Americans were wounded by shot gunfire in Philadelphia June 2-0-21. Yes, shotguns, not the dreaded and evil handguns that the spouter wants to see banned. The perpetrator in Charleston is the embodiment of evil, and his evil would have found a way to manifest with or without that pistol. Again, what are we doing as a nation to address violence and our tolerance thereof? Let's stop scapegoating guns and look to a deeper social and moral problem.
