I read the “Coffee w/ Cops” article in the Herald. I respect and support the MTPD, but the officer’s response to citizens’ concern over quads and dirt bikes illegally on our streets frankly doesn’t cut it. The PD won’t chase them because it might cause an injury, but there has already been an injury to one of the illegal riders due to a car accident. Letting them ride on the streets isn’t the answer. It doesn’t take Colombo to figure out who the teens are, just knock on some doors in Whitesboro/Green Creek. The neighbors will tell you. There will be more injuries (or worse) w/o action.
