West Wildwood - All residents should read what the State of NJ had to say to our commissioners at their meeting regarding the chief's $1.7 million lawsuit. It looks like the borough's insurer will not cover it. Also noted was that the chief received a salary increase between 2013 and 2017, from $63,000 to $101,000. She was also paid, over those years, back salary of about $200,000. The commissioners also gave themselves raises from $7,500 to $17,000. The state blasted our leaders for their incompetence in overseeing borough finances. We pay the bill! Huge tax increase ahead, folks.
