Sea Isle City - We do burn oil and gas in our homes. The concerns stemming from offshore drilling are the increased odds of a catastrophic oil spill that would devastate our coastline; it has nothing to do with using fossil fuels in general. Recall the BP oil spill in 2010 that wreaked havoc on the gulf. Why would we want to risk that happening to New Jersey's beaches?
