We need JD Vance to come to SIC and investigate the waste, fraud and abuse on the beach replenishment project. Several weeks of heavy equipment and crews standing around all day waiting for the sand to arrive. Can not comprehend what the hourly equipment-manpower cost is with no benefit. Let’s not forget the weekends and their premium rates. Just another Federally funded project with no oversight focused on cost and productivity. We deserve better.
