The comments from those spouters who are so upset about the Pride flags is pretty disturbing. Gays in this country have been subjected to violence, threats to their employment, and social ostracism over the years. This group has also contributed significantly to the U.S. economy and society. Sometimes I wonder whether this is 2026 or 1956 (maybe even 1856) around here. It seems like many in this community have lost, or never had, compassion or understanding for people unlike them.
