Villas - Re: a spouter's point about "unseen medical conditions" and the use of handicap plates. I have two people I know well in my neighborhood who habitually use dad's/mom's car, with the handicap plate, and park in handicap spots while running errands around town. This infuriates me, as my wife is handicapped. At the spouter's suggestion, I reread the N.J. handicap plate application. Certain neurological and cardiac conditions are covered if the applicant can't walk 200 feet. That, of course, makes perfect sense. I also read that the penalty for misusing another's handicap plate or placard is $10,000.
