I stopped down over the weekend of Feb. 7 to check on the beach shack in Villas. Piles of leaves were still laying in front of houses on every street in the area. Specifically, I saw huge piles all along the cross streets of Presper Ave. and Rutgers Road. At one point, I was forced to drive through a large pile to avoid a collision with an opposing vehicle. Seems to me the twp. needs to just stop saying they will collect leaves. They should just tell everyone to bag them and bring them to the dump, or just put them out with the trash.
