If you are a senior citizen who has a supplemental insurance plan, make sure that any doctor, hospital or other medical facility accepts all insurance payments, and will not "bounce bill" you. Bounce billing is when the doctor, etc., after getting paid (most likely less than he/she/they would like), will then bounce the remainder of the bill to you. We found out the hard way. Don't be a victim of this newest, slickest practice. Don't assume that just because your doctor, etc., accepts your Medicare and supplemental insurance, that you will not be stuck for the remainder.
