I was disappointed but not surprised that the Biden administration would not allow sand from the inlet to be pumped directly onto the beaches that require replenishment. The way Dems work is to pump sand, at great cost, from offshore to replenish the beaches, then pump the sand from the inlet to the hole created offshore when they replenished the beaches, again at great cost, which doubles the cost of the project.They don’t seem to care how much it costs, because it’s taxpayer money, not theirs. For some reason that I cannot fathom, Democrats seem to have a propensity to waste money foolishly.
