Terrapins are already getting hit by cars again on North Wildwood Blvd just they have now for decades. The municipal, county and state elected and non-elected officials have made no effort to stop this. There are effective barriers that could easily be installed along North Wildwood Blvd. No one takes any initiative on this. It's too bad our local elected officials don't care as much about wildlife conservation and preserving nature as much as they do tourism and beach replenishment. Terrapins trying to cross North Wildwood Blvd have no chance of surviving because of the concrete median.
