Swainton - Three acres of trees have been destroyed on Route 9 in Swainton to make room for a store. Local citizens defeated the project, but local politicians had that decision reversed. Such a betrayal of the will of Middle Township citizens in favor of an outside corporation is unseemly at best, and should not be rewarded.
