Swainton - Middle Township should fund school sports with fees paid by the parents of students who play sports instead of property taxes. Taxpayers shouldn't be forced to fund sports, especially since sports drain money away from education. The primary purpose of any school is education, not providing students an opportunity to play sports so they stay out of trouble. School sports are an incredibly expensive burden on the taxpayers and it is time that the parents who want their kids to play sports pay for it themselves.
