I'm looking for information on the laws about child support from a person who is on SSI disability. If the father is on SSI disability, can he be made to give his SSI check money for his needs to support his child? Can a custodial person appointed by DYFS take the father's SSI check money as support for his child, and if the mother also is on disability, can she be made to take her funds for her needs to support her child, or does the custodial person responsible support the child?
