I spent some time reading a variety of news sources, both liberal and conservative, about the police shooting in Miss. and I came to a tragic realization. Even if the police officer was 100% correct and justified in what he did, there is no possible way that he will ever be vindicated. To be honest, I do not know what happened, and if he was wrong, he deserves appropriate punishment. But, where are all of our "Innocence Project" proponents now? He was faced with a 6'4," 300 lb. teenager whom we have now seen video showing his belligerence. Was the officer right or wrong? We will never know.
