Stone Harbor - Why are so many people threatened by another's intelligence? We can't all be the best baseball player - some people will excel while others falter - and most people would acknowledge this fact. So, why do many people succumb to thinking that they are just as smart as everyone else? Intelligence falls on a scale as does athletic ability, artistic talent, physical attractiveness, or height. We can't all be smart, just as we can't all be tall. But we can be smart enough to realize our limitations and begin listening to the input of those whose intelligence exceeds our own.
