The Cape May County Bridge Commission should be eliminated.

Sea Isle City - The Cape May County Bridge Commission should be eliminated. The bridges are in deplorable condition. They operate at a loss due to decades of ridiculous salaries, benefits, and pensions. The bridges would then qualify for state and federal repair money, like our other county bridges. The county is currently doing the maintenance on these bridges anyhow. Additionally, a seasonal toll is a direct insult to tourists and our tourism industry. Lastly, this increase would adversely affect county residents, including those who cross these bridges multiple times daily to access their homes, jobs, schools, etc.
