Stone Harbor - I live in Stone Harbor and I got a $2,000 increase and I haven't made any significant improvements in 20 years. But here's the question... Stone Harbor raised taxes even after the reassessment last year. Plus, the freeholders got a windfall from the assessment that they didn't talk about as the money wasn't budgeted. Meanwhile the schools, library and Open Space got a windfall that was not anticipated. They built swing sets with it. They all got an increase in taxes on top of this. All they do is keep taking our money.
