Stone Harbor - As far as parking meters go, we were sold a bill of goods when Council passed the resolution that spent over $200,000 to build and pave the 93rd Street parking lot. This lot sits on a multi-million dollar piece of borough property. The taxpayers were promised that the lot would pay for itself because we were going to charge for parking. That never happened. Three current council members and the mayor were in office and signed off on this. If you want meters, put them in this lot! At least have the decency to keep your promise. Don't believe it? Go read the transcript at Borough Hall!
