Why would the Naval Academy graduate think it was a good idea to approach law enforcement in the middle of a riot. I’m sure he was warned to step back and not draw closer. If he had a question about the constitution maybe he could ask a lawyer. Officers follow the command of their superiors just like he did when he attended Annapolis. This was a stunt that didn’t work to his advantage. In video he was having no trouble walking away and giving the officers the finger with both hands.
