I have a real problem. I have people who are not from this country working for me. It was all I could find for the work needed to be done. Drywall and tile work. I was hiring at $20 an hour, on the books. Not a single contact in 12 weeks. No local “Americans” called for a job. I had to find workers outside of a convenience store. They had their tools, some supplies and their food, all ready to go to work. I hired five of them. I pay them with a personal check. Am I wrong for doing so?
